Atlas Metrics, a Berlin-based ESG and carbon accounting platform, has acquired Swiss sustainability reporting company Pelt8 to accelerate its expansion in Switzerland and strengthen its position in the European market. The two companies first connected during Kickstart 2023 and share a focus on simplifying and improving ESG reporting for financial institutions and corporates. Atlas Metrics, founded in 2021, is active in 18 countries and serves more than 2,500 customers.
As part of the integration, Pelt8’s clients will be able to migrate to the Atlas Metrics platform. They will gain access to AI-powered double materiality analyses, audit-ready reporting outputs, automated data collection and comprehensive multi-standard reporting capabilities. The platform supports alignment with the Swiss Code of Obligations, GRI, CSRD, EU Taxonomy and SFDR, responding to increasing regulatory requirements in Switzerland and the EU.
Both management teams highlight the complementary strengths of the partnership. Pelt8 brings a strong reputation and client relationships in the Swiss sustainability ecosystem, while Atlas Metrics contributes a flexible data model, a broad client network and a supply chain-focused framework. Together, they aim to offer enhanced solutions for non-financial reporting, auditing, performance management and advanced risk management, including climate, geopolitical, reputational and cyber risks.
